I am so ashamed to admit this, but sinse I have been married I have gained 40 pounds. WHAT! That is disgusting! We have been married for 4 1/2 years. That is 10 pounds a year I have gained. So my hubby (the work out king) started P90X about 3 weeks ago. I can already see some results for him. So I started on Monday (I am in so much pain today!) and I am excited/ terrified. Jeff thought it would be a good accountability for me to post my progress on my blog. Last night I took my before pictures in my bathing suit. Every weekend I am in my bathing suit, but I never take my picture. When I saw my pictures, I looked at Jeff and said, this is what y'all look at! Those pictures are such a motivation for me to change the way I look. I don't want to see myself like that anymore. I want to post the pictures, but I am horrified to do so. Maybe in a week or so I will.... maybe!
The three goals of why I want to lose the weight...
My 5 year anniversary. Jeff and I have decided to go on a cruise. That is what we did for our honeymoon and would kind of like to recreate it. I want to feel comfortable enough to walk around the upper deck in a bathing suit and not worry about grabbing my cover up. I would love to look on that scrapbook and say I looked just as good as when I did for my honeymoon.
Our yearly scalloping trip. Basically everyone is in a bathing suit for 4 days straight. Pictures are always being taken and I am so tired of running to grab my towel or a cover up. I want to look back on this vacation and not see the pictures and think, man do I look heavy. I want to see them and think, '' that vacation was a blast''. Plus my SIL and a family friend look amazing in a suit.
Having a baby. I want to be super healthy for my future baby. Plus I don't want to be a puffy pregnant lady. People see me and think wooo she is retaining water. I want them to say, she is so cute pregonant.
So wish me luck! Pray for me! I will keep you updated with pictures on how this process is going. My goal is to lose 25 pounds by July 4th, and another 15 pounds by November. Then I will be back at my healthiest weight.
