{These are a few of my Favorite things}

Being a Vegetarian is not always easy when you are eating out! A lot of time when you go somewhere they will have vegetarian meals but they are deep fried…. I don’t like that at all! But my 5 favorite places to get grub and that have food for me is.

1. Tijuana Flats – this is my go to place for every meal. I cannot get enough of TF’s. Every Valentine’s Day Jeff and I come here. I have no patience when I have to wait for something, and I don’t see the point on spending a ton of money to go somewhere to eat. With TF’s I know I am going to love it!

2. Courtside Grill – This is not a chain restaurant, sorry everybody. But if you are ever in the Tampa Bay area you will have to stop in here. It is owned by Matt Geiger who was a NBA basketball player. It is two blocks away from work. The Mahi is delicious!

3. Carrabba’s Italian Grill – My baby sister works here, so the 50% off discount is wonderful! They have my favorite martini drink there, the “st pete tini”.

4. Bonefish - How could you not love this place? I don’t have many restrictions here; I eat fish so the sky is the limit.

5. Applebee’s - Drink specials :). My hubby loves this place. We usually go here once a week. I don’t get much here. I usually order a salad and modify it. No cheese, dressing, or meat.

I was talking to my hubby and thinking of a way for you galls to get to know me better. Then a commercial for Sound of music came on…. The song “These are a few of my Favorite things”. That’s it! Every Wednesday I will have a subject with a theme (like books, music, movies, ext.).

My Top Five Books… (Not in any particular order.)

1. All four of the Twilight books: by Stephenie Meyer – I will totally admit that I love these books! Team Edward!!!
2. Redeeming love: by Francine Rivers
3. Tuesdays with Morrie: by Mitch Albom
4. Dear John: by Nicholas Sparks – I am so excited; they made this into a movie and will be out on Feb, 5 2010.
5. Love you Forever: by Robert N. Munsch. – I know this is a children’s book, but my mother read this to me every night. And I am so thrilled to one day read this to my children. My mother still says to me, “I will love you forever, I will like you for always, and as long as you’re living my baby you’ll be.”
